  1. The blog's overall appearance is great. All the required information is neatly presented and easy to understand. The pictures, drawings, and diagrams definitely enhance the look of the blog and are effective visual aids.

The pictures of the ethanol molecule are accurate. All of the necessary bonds and atoms are present.

It was correctly determined that the molecule is polar. This is due to the uneven distribution of electrons and the molecule being unsymmetrical. For example, the oxygen atom is more negative than any other place on the molecule.

The intermolecular forces acting between ethanol molecules were also correctly determined and accurately described in considerable detail. London dispersion forces, dipole dipole, and hydrogen bonding are all present between ethanol molecules. The drawings depicting the different forces are accurate as well.

I found the ad to be very useful. It does a good job of describing what ethanol is and then lists numerous uses for the molecule. Overall the ad was convincing, realistic, and creative.

  2. I really enjoyed the overall appearance of the blog. It was extremely rich with information and had accurate and correct drawings and representations of the molecule. However, I think that there was a little bit too much information. I kind of became overwhelmed with all of the information on the molecule. However, everything was correct and accurate.

Your pictures and graphics of the molecule were accurate and properly portrayed the angles, atoms, bonds, and electrons of your molecule. They were easy to view and observe, and made it so that the viewer could easily understand the content.

I agree with you saying that the molecule is polar. This is due to the uneven amount of electrons that are in the molecule. Also, the molecule is unsymmetrical (If a molecule can be split in 1 or no ways, it is polar).

The intermolecular forces that are present in the atom were also displayed correctly. Your definitions and explanation of the different types of forces definately helped the reader and were thoroughly written.

The ad was convincing and did a good job of grasping the readers attention. You listed useful ways of ethanol and why it should be bought. The ad gave insight to the reader about how it affects their lives and why it should be bought. Overall, very good job.
